North View is home to approximately 330 students and 30 staff members in grades kindergarten through fifth. Our school has a diverse student population, which is 61 percent Caucasian-American, 15 percent Multi-Racial, 13 percent African American, and 11 percent Hispanic, Asian, and American Indian.
We have high expectations for all of our students and staff, and we will do everything we can to support our students and families as they build a strong educational foundation. Our goal is to provide a quality education through shared responsibility in a safe and supportive environment for all students to meet the challenges of a global society. We utilize Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) to promote and recognize the many great things that our students do every day. Here at North View, our students are excited to follow positive expectations to show they are STARs (Safe, Team Players, Accountable, Respectful)! Our students strive every day to be the best they can be.
North View Elementary has valuable community partners that work with our students and families. Ball State University, Meridian Health Services, and area churches all provide levels of support to our families.
Here at North View, we are proud of all that our students, staff, and community are doing to make this a great school, and we invite all students and families looking for an outstanding elementary to come and learn what it means to be a North View Rocket!
